Life experiences have led Anna to drive towards a career focus in the field of psychology. Upon living bi-culturally throughout her childhood and adolescent years, she acknowledges the complications not only of adolescent issues but also through a multi-cultural lens. Having been trained in fundamentals and applications of Art since the age of 4, art has been pivotal in her expression and communication as an individual and clinician. Her background in Studio Arts, Graphic Design, and Jewelry Design has found its way towards integration through Psychology with creative solutions.
Utilizing the humanistic components of therapy with a multi-modal approach, Anna strives to help her clients identify their problem story and positively-refocus through a new perspective. Currently Anna is a Regional Field Supervisor for Outreach Concern, serving schools with presentations on empowerment, diversity and self-esteem.
Anna has worked with younger children, adolescents and families, young adults, third culture issues, acculteration, and the older adults suffering from dementia. Her expertise traverses through individual, family and group therapy through the Art Therapy lens.
